2. Safety Warnings

Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Helmet Use: Always wear a certified helmet when riding your electric bike.
  • Pre-Ride Check: Before each ride, inspect the brakes, tires (pressure and condition), battery charge, and ensure all quick releases and fasteners are secure.
  • Traffic Laws: Obey all local traffic laws and regulations. Use appropriate hand signals.
  • Visibility: Ride defensively and make yourself visible to motorists and pedestrians. Use the integrated LED headlamp for night riding.
  • Weather Conditions: Exercise caution when riding in wet conditions. The H875 power-off hydraulic disc brakes shorten braking distance, but wet roads still require increased stopping distance.
  • Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the bike (refer to specifications).
  • Alcohol/Drugs: Never operate the e-bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Children: This electric bike is designed for adults. Keep children away from the bike during operation and charging.

Utilize the Shimano 27-speed gear system to match your pedaling effort to the terrain. Shift gears smoothly to maintain an efficient cadence. The H875 hydraulic disc brakes provide strong and responsive stopping power. Apply both brakes simultaneously for balanced and effective braking.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your e-bike:

  • Battery Care:
    • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health.
    • Avoid completely draining the battery.
    • Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
  • Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure before each ride and inflate to the recommended PSI.
  • Brakes: Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers are responsive. Adjust or replace as needed.
  • Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to prevent rust and ensure smooth shifting.
  • Cleaning: Clean the bike with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
