1. Product Overview

The Yoolax Smart Dual Roller Shades offer a versatile solution for window treatments, combining two layers of fabric to provide flexible light control and privacy. 3. Installation Guide

3.1. Preparation

Before beginning installation, ensure you have the following tools:

• Electric Drill with 0.2" (6mm) Drill Bit / Screwdriver
• Measuring Tape
• Pencil
• Gradometer (Level)

Unpack your shades and remove any signal blockers from the motors before proceeding with installation. Install the side covers onto the headrail.

3.2. Measuring for Installation

Inside Mount

Measure the depth of the window frame. A minimum depth of 3.3 inches is required. Measure and submit the exact width and height inside the window frame. The submitted width and height are the finished product dimensions, including the top rail and bottom rod.

Outside Mount

Measure the width and height of the outside window frame. Add 3 to 6 inches to the exact width and height and submit. For outside mount blinds, it is recommended to add 3 to 6 inches to the exact width and height of the outside window frame to ensure no light leakage. This is a suggestion, and no additional size adjustments will be made automatically.

4. Operation

4.1. Remote Control

The Yoolax Lightwirl Remote is compatible with all three kinds of Yoolax motors, offering convenient control for your shades. It can control up to 9 blinds and features various functions like group control and adjusting opening percentage. A 16-Channel Remote is also available, compatible with Z425 Motor and YL23 Motor, capable of controlling up to 16 blinds.

4.2. Smart Motor & Voice Control

Yoolax remote blinds feature smart motors for enhanced control. With a Zigbee Motor, the blinds can connect directly to specific Alexa models (Echo Plus 2nd Gen, Echo Show 2nd Gen, Echo Studio, Echo Show 10, Echo 4th Gen, Echo Show 8 3rd Gen, Echo Hub) without needing a Smart Bridge. Bluetooth motors work directly with the Yoolax Home App without a Smart Bridge.

Yoolax dual motorized blinds offer flexible options for shading and light filtering. You can lower the half-shading roller shades to enjoy gentle sunlight or lower the blackout roller shades for absolute privacy and to block heat and light.

Explore a wide selection of fabrics for dual blinds. The valance comes with a default fabric wrap that complements the front layer. For the bottom rod, you can choose between Yoolax Sleek Alloy Bar (white or grey) or a fabric-wrapped rod.

6. Maintenance

To clean your Yoolax Smart Dual Roller Shades, use a spot clean method only. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the fabric or motor components.

6.1. Charging

The built-in rechargeable battery motor allows the shades to be used for 4-6 months on a full charge. A 78-inch long USB charging wire extension is included. Solar panels can be purchased separately to charge your shades and save energy.
