The DirectSensor control panel provides intuitive fingertip operation for selecting wash programs and settings. The display shows program status, remaining time, and other relevant information.

4.2 Loading Laundry (AddLoad)

Open the washing machine door and load your laundry. Do not overload the drum. The AddLoad function allows you to add forgotten items even after a program has started, provided the water level and temperature allow.

4.3 Detergent Dispensing (TwinDos & CapDosing)

The WWD660 WCS TwinDos model features two innovative detergent dispensing systems:

  • TwinDos: This revolutionary 2-phase system automatically dispenses the optimum amount of detergent (UltraPhase 1 and UltraPhase 2) at the right time during the wash cycle, ensuring perfect cleaning results.
  • CapDosing: For special applications like wool care, silk care, or reproofing, use Miele CapDosing capsules. Simply insert the capsule into the designated compartment in the detergent drawer.

4.4 Program Selection

Turn the program selector to choose the desired wash program (e.g., Cottons, Delicates, Express 20, Dark Garments, Denim). The display will show the default settings for the selected program, which can be adjusted using the touch controls.

4.5 Special Features

4.5.1 Pre-ironing

The pre-ironing function helps to reduce creasing, making ironing easier. At the end of the wash cycle, laundry is gently tumbled inside the moist, warm drum and wrinkles are delicately smoothed out with steam.

4.5.2 Miele@home Connectivity

5. Maintenance and Care
