Assembly Instructions
The UGEARS Mini Helicopter model kit consists of 167 precision-cut pieces. The estimated assembly time is approximately 3 hours. Carefully follow the detailed, illustrated instructions provided in the included booklet for step-by-step guidance.
Important: Gently remove parts from the plywood sheets. Use the provided sandpaper and paraffin wax as instructed to ensure smooth movement of all mechanical parts. Proper waxing is crucial for optimal functionality.

Operating Instructions
Once fully assembled, your UGEARS Mini Helicopter features a rubber band motor for dynamic movement and interactive features.
Activating the Mechanism
To activate the main and tail rotors, gently wind the rubber band motor as indicated in the instruction booklet. Once wound, release the mechanism to observe the rotors spinning. The model can travel approximately 150 cm on a flat, smooth surface.

Dynamic Features
- Rotating Main and Tail Rotors: The primary and tail rotors are designed to spin when the internal mechanism is engaged.
- Retractable Rear Wheels: The rear wheels can be manually retracted or extended for display or movement.
- Opening Doors: The cockpit doors can be opened and closed.
- Adjustable Searchlight: The searchlight component can be adjusted.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and smooth operation of your UGEARS Mini Helicopter, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Lubrication: Periodically apply paraffin wax to all moving gears, axles, and connections as indicated in the assembly instructions. This reduces friction and ensures smooth mechanical action.
- Cleaning: Dust the model regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water, chemical cleaners, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the wood.
- Storage: Store the model in a dry environment away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme temperature fluctuations. These conditions can cause the wood to warp or crack.

Troubleshooting
Model Not Moving Smoothly or Rotors Not Spinning
- Check for Friction: Ensure all gears and moving parts are adequately waxed. Reapply paraffin wax to any areas that appear stiff or are causing resistance.
- Part Alignment: Verify that all parts are correctly aligned and that no pieces are binding or rubbing against each other. Refer to the instruction booklet for precise placement.
- Loose Connections: Confirm that all connections are secure. However, avoid forcing parts together too tightly, as this can also impede movement.
Parts Breaking During Assembly
- Gentle Handling: Wooden parts, especially thin tabs, can be delicate. Apply gentle, even pressure when detaching pieces from the sheets and during assembly.
- Sanding Tight Fits: If a connection feels too tight, lightly sand the connecting tabs with the provided sandpaper. Do not sand excessively, as this can result in a loose fit.
