Setup

Battery Installation

The VTech Baby's First Laptop requires AA alkaline batteries (included). Follow these steps to install or replace batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the laptop.
2. Using a screwdriver (not included), loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Insert 2 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
5. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw securely.

Note: For best performance, use new alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

Power On/Off

• To turn on the laptop, slide the power switch (usually located on the side or bottom) to the "ON" position.
