1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the CLAONER 288 LED Solar Security Lights. This product is designed to provide efficient and reliable outdoor lighting with motion detection capabilities. 3. Setup and Installation

The CLAONER Solar Security Lights feature a split design, allowing the solar panel to be installed separately from the light unit for optimal sun exposure. No complex wiring is required.

1. Choose Location: Select a location for the light unit and the solar panel. Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for most of the day. The 16.4 ft cable provides flexibility for placement.
2. Drill Holes: Drill holes on the chosen surface for mounting the wall buckle.
3. Install Wall Buckle: Insert plastic anchors into the drilled holes and secure the wall buckle with screws. Ensure the open groove of the buckle is facing upwards.
4. Mount Light Unit: Place the adjustable pivot arm connected to the outdoor light into the wall buckle. Ensure the solar motion sensor light is positioned downwards, not upwards. Adjust the four solar light heads to your desired angle for optimal illumination.
5. Connect Solar Panel: Connect the plug from the solar panel to the light unit.
6. Activate: Press the power button on the back of the light unit to activate it.

Important: Ensure the light is installed correctly and not upside down to prevent water ingress and ensure proper sensor function.

4. Operating Instructions

The CLAONER Solar Security Lights offer four distinct lighting modes, controllable via the switch on the back of the unit or the included remote control. The remote control allows for convenient mode changes without needing to access the light unit directly.

Lighting Modes:

• Mode 1: Dusk to Dawn (Medium Light)
  The light maintains 50% brightness throughout the night, turning off automatically at dawn.
• Mode 2: Dim-Bright-Dim Sensor Mode
  The light stays at a low brightness. When motion is detected, it switches to strong light (100% brightness) for 20 seconds, then returns to low brightness when no motion is detected.
• Mode 3: Strong Light Sensor Mode
  The light remains off. When motion is detected, it activates at strong light (100% brightness) for 20 seconds, then turns off completely when no motion is detected.
• Mode 4: Emergency SOS Flash
  The light enters a fast flashing mode throughout the night. This mode is indicated by flashes when selected.

To change modes, press the corresponding mode button on the remote control (MODE1, MODE2, MODE3, MODE4) or cycle through the modes using the button on the back of the light unit.

5. Maintenance

The CLAONER Solar Security Lights are designed for durability and minimal maintenance, featuring an IP67 waterproof rating and weather-resistant materials.

• Solar Panel Cleaning: Periodically clean the surface of the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. This ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
• Light Unit Cleaning: Wipe the light heads and motion sensor with a soft, damp cloth as needed to maintain optimal performance and appearance.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect the cable and mounting for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all connections remain secure.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your CLAONER Solar Security Lights, consider the following common solutions:

• Light Not Turning On:
  
  • Ensure the solar panel is receiving adequate direct sunlight for charging (at least 6-8 hours).
  • Verify the power button on the back of the light unit is pressed to the 'ON' position.
  • Check the cable connection between the solar panel and the light unit.
  • Confirm it is dark enough for the light sensor to activate.
• Motion Sensor Not Working:
  
  • Ensure the motion sensor is not obstructed.
  • Verify the light is in Mode 2 or Mode 3, which utilize the motion sensor.
  • Test the detection range and angle (up to 26 feet with a 180° detection angle).
• Remote Control Not Working:
  
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light unit.
  • Check if the remote control's battery needs replacement.
• Reduced Brightness or Short Illumination Time:
  
  • Clean the solar panel to ensure maximum charging efficiency.
  • Ensure the solar panel is not shaded by trees, buildings, or other objects.
