Setup Instructions

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and ensure all parts listed in the "What's Included" section are present.
2. Rinse Components: Rinse the water tank, stainless steel tray, and pump thoroughly with water before first use.
3. Install Filter: Place the multi-layer filter and pump sponge into their designated slots. Ensure the filter is properly seated.
4. Assemble Fountain: Place the wireless pump into the water tank, then position the stainless steel tray on top. Ensure all parts fit securely.
5. Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the maximum fill line.
6. Connect Power: Connect the AC power adapter to the fountain's base and plug it into a power outlet. Ensure the cable is securely attached to its slot to prevent accidental dislodgement.
7. Placement: Place the fountain on a solid, level floor, such as marble, wood, or tile, to ensure accurate water intake monitoring. Leave at least an 8-inch space around the fountain. This device is for indoor use only.
8. App Download & Connection: Download the PETLIBRO app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your fountain. Note that the device only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks; 5GHz networks are not supported.
9. Calibration: Calibrate the base and water tank separately within the app before initial use to ensure accurate water intake data.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

The fountain will automatically power on once connected to a power source. To turn it off, simply unplug the AC power adapter.

Water Flow Modes

The PETLIBRO Dockstream Cat Water Fountain offers two water flow modes:

• Continuous Flow Mode: Water flows constantly, providing a steady stream for your pet.
• Intermittent Mode: Water flows in intervals, which may conserve energy and appeal to pets who prefer periodic access to fresh water.

You can select your preferred mode via the PETLIBRO app. Refer to the "App Features" section for more details on controlling settings through the app.

App Features

The PETLIBRO app enhances your experience by providing smart monitoring and control features for your cat's hydration.

PawSense Health Monitoring System

The app tracks your cat's drinking volume, frequency, and time, offering comprehensive hydration data and easy-to-read reports. This system helps you monitor your cat's health condition. Ensure your fountain is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for optimal performance.

Set Hydration Goals

You can set a daily hydration goal for your pet within the app. The system will track progress against this goal, helping you ensure your cat is drinking enough water.

Real-Time Water Level Monitoring & Alerts

The app provides real-time synchronization of the water level in the fountain. You will receive alerts if the water level drops below the minimum, preventing dehydration.

Cleaning and Filter Change Reminders

The app sends smart reminders to clean the fountain and change the filters, ensuring your pet always has access to clean, fresh water.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance is crucial for your pet's health and the longevity of the fountain. The fountain is not dishwasher safe.

Weekly Cleaning

Clean the water tank, stainless steel tray, and wireless pump at least once a week. The detachable design and wireless pump make this process easier. Disassemble the fountain, rinse all parts thoroughly with water, and gently clean any residue. Ensure the pump is also cleaned, including its internal components if accessible, to prevent buildup.

Filter Replacement

It is recommended to change the multi-layer filter and pump sponge every two weeks. Using official PETLIBRO replacement filters (search B0D1FZ3DS3) is recommended for best performance and water purity.

Troubleshooting

Fountain not powering on:

Ensure the AC power adapter is securely plugged into both the fountain base and a working power outlet. Check for any damage to the power cable.

No water flow or weak flow:

Check the water level in the tank; refill if low. Ensure the wireless pump is correctly seated and free from debris. Clean the pump and filter thoroughly, as blockages can reduce water flow.

App connectivity issues:

• Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. This device does not support 5GHz networks.
• Verify that your phone and the fountain are within range of your Wi-Fi router.
• Restart your Wi-Fi router, the fountain, and your phone, then attempt to reconnect via the app.
• If you have a combined 2.4GHz/5GHz network, you may need to temporarily disable the 5GHz band or create a separate 2.4GHz network for initial setup.

Inaccurate water intake data or calibration issues:

• Ensure the fountain is placed on a solid, level surface, as vibrations can affect accuracy.
• Recalibrate the base and water tank separately through the app. This should be done without the water tank on the base initially.
• Ensure the fountain is clean and free of debris that might interfere with sensors.

Fountain is noisy:

• Ensure the water level is sufficient. Low water levels can cause pump noise.
• Clean the pump thoroughly, as trapped hair or debris can cause noise.
• Ensure all components are correctly assembled and seated.
