Setup
1. Inserting the SIM Card(s) and Battery
- Carefully remove the back cover of the phone.
- Insert the SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s). Ensure the gold contacts face downwards. This phone supports Dual SIM.
- Insert the battery, aligning the contacts correctly.
- Replace the back cover until it clicks into place.
Important Note: This phone is 2G only. Ensure your SIM card is enabled for a 2G network. Contact your service provider if unsure.
2. Charging the Battery
- Connect the charger to the phone's charging port.
- Plug the charger into a wall outlet.
- The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.
For optimal battery life, fully charge the battery before first use.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power key until the phone vibrates.
- To power off, press and hold the Power key, then select "Power off" from the options.
Making Calls
- Enter the phone number using the keypad.
- Press the Call key (green button) to initiate the call.
- To end a call, press the End Call key (red button).
Sending SMS Messages
- Go to Menu > Messages > Create message.
- Type your message using the keypad.
- Enter the recipient's number or select from contacts.
- Select "Send".
The phone has space for 2,000 contacts and 500 SMS messages.
Using UPI Payments
The Nokia 105 comes with a built-in UPI application for secure and convenient digital payments. Follow the on-screen instructions within the UPI app to set up your account and link your bank details.
- Navigate to the UPI application from the main menu.
- Follow the prompts to register and verify your details.
- You can then send and receive UPI payments directly from your phone.
Wireless FM Radio
To use the wireless FM radio, navigate to the Radio application from the main menu. You do not need to connect headphones to listen to the radio.
- Go to Menu > Radio.
- Use the navigation keys to tune to desired stations.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the phone's surface. Avoid liquid cleaners.
- Storage: Store the phone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures or dispose of it in fire. Use only Nokia-approved chargers.
- Water Resistance: This phone is not water-resistant. Avoid exposure to liquids.
