3. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack and Familiarize: Remove the timer from its packaging. Open the clear waterproof cover to access the mechanical dial.
2. Reset Pins: Pull up all the small gray pins around the dial. This sets them to the 'OFF' position.
3. Set ON/OFF Periods: Push down the gray pins corresponding to the times you want your devices to be 'ON'. Each pin represents a 30-minute interval. For example, to turn on from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, push down the pins from the '6 PM' mark to the '10 PM' mark.
4. Set Current Time: Rotate the entire gray push-pin dial clockwise until the 'Current Time' arrow aligns with the current time of day. The black portion of the dial represents 12 PM to 12 AM, and the white portion represents 12 AM to 12 PM.
5. Select Timer Mode: Ensure the slide switch at the bottom of the timer is set to the 'clock' icon for programmed operation.

4. Operating Modes

The HBN Outdoor Timer offers two operating modes, controlled by the slide switch located at the bottom of the unit:

• Timer Mode (Clock Icon): When the switch is set to the 'clock' icon, the timer will operate according to the programmed ON/OFF schedule you set using the pins. The dial will continuously rotate, activating and deactivating your connected devices at the specified times daily.
• Always ON Mode (ON Position): When the switch is slid to the 'ON' position, the timer will bypass its programmed schedule, and the connected devices will remain continuously powered. This is useful for situations where you need constant power, overriding the timer function.

• Keep Cover Closed: To ensure optimal performance and longevity, keep the transparent waterproof cover securely closed when not adjusting settings.
