4.2 Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Motorcycle:

   Park the motorcycle on a stable, level surface. Turn off the ignition and remove the key. Disconnect the negative terminal of the motorcycle battery to prevent accidental electrical shorts during installation.
2. Access the Existing Tail Light:

   Locate and remove any fairings, seats, or panels necessary to access the existing tail light assembly and its wiring. Refer to your motorcycle's service manual for specific instructions on removing these components.

3. Remove the Old Tail Light:

   Unplug the wiring harness from the existing tail light. Unscrew or unbolt the old tail light from its mounting points and carefully remove it.

5. Connect the Wiring:

6. Test the Lights:

   Reconnect the motorcycle battery. Turn on the ignition and test all functions: running light, brake light, left turn signal, and right turn signal. Ensure all lights illuminate correctly and the sequential turn signals operate as expected.

7. Reassemble:

The ERYUE LED Motorcycle Tail Light operates automatically with your motorcycle's electrical system.

• Running Light: When the motorcycle's ignition is on and headlights are activated, the tail light will illuminate with a low-brightness red light.
• Brake Light: When the brake lever or pedal is applied, the tail light will illuminate with a high-brightness red light. It also features a stop alert function, where the brake light flashes 3 times rapidly when the brakes are first applied, then remains solid.
• Turn Signals: When the left or right turn signal switch is activated, the corresponding side of the tail light will illuminate with sequential amber LEDs, indicating the direction of the turn.
