4.1. Front Panel Controls

LCD Display: Shows track number, time, playback mode, and battery status.
Play/Pause Button (▶⏸): Starts or pauses playback.
Stop Button (■): Stops playback.
Previous Track/Rewind Button (⏮): Skips to the previous track or rewinds during playback.
Next Track/Fast Forward Button (⏭): Skips to the next track or fast forwards during playback.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Battery

Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the DC 5V input port on the CD player.

5.2. Connecting Headphones

Insert the 3.5mm plug of your headphones into the headphone jack on the side of the CD player.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off and Hold Function

To power on, slide the ON/OFF/HOLD switch to the "ON" position.
To power off, slide the ON/OFF/HOLD switch to the "OFF" position.
To lock the buttons and prevent accidental operation, slide the switch to the "HOLD" position. The LCD will display "HOLD".

6.2. Inserting and Removing a CD

Slide the OPEN switch to open the CD compartment lid.
Carefully place a CD (CD, CD-R, HDCD, MP3CD) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
Gently press the CD down until it clicks into place.
Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches.
To remove a CD, open the lid and gently lift the CD from the edges.

6.3. Basic Playback

After inserting a CD and closing the lid, the player will scan the disc.
Press the Play/Pause button (▶⏸) to start playback.
Press the Play/Pause button (▶⏸) again to pause playback.
Press the Stop button (■) to stop playback.
Use the Previous Track (⏮) or Next Track (⏭) buttons to skip tracks.
Press and hold the Previous Track (⏮) or Next Track (⏭) buttons to rewind or fast forward within a track.

6.4. Volume Adjustment

Rotate the Volume Control Dial on the side of the player to increase or decrease the volume.

6.5. Playback Modes

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the following playback modes:

REP1: Repeats the current track.
ALL: Repeats all tracks on the disc.
SHUF: Plays tracks in a random order.
INTRO: Plays the first 10 seconds of each track.
(No icon): Plays tracks in sequential order.

6.6. Sound Effects (EQ)

Press the EQ button repeatedly to cycle through different sound equalization presets:

BBS: Bass Boost System
POP: Pop music preset
JAZZ: Jazz music preset
ROCK: Rock music preset
CLASSIC: Classical music preset

6.7. Last Memory Function

The player has a last memory function that resumes playback from where it was last stopped. To manually enable or disable this function, long press the PROG button.

6.8. Programming Tracks

In stop mode, press the PROG button. The LCD will show "PROG".
Use the Previous Track (⏮) or Next Track (⏭) buttons to select the desired track.
Press PROG again to confirm the selection and move to the next program slot.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more tracks to your program (up to 20 tracks).
After programming, press the Play/Pause button (▶⏸) to start playing the programmed tracks.
To clear the program, press the Stop button (■) twice.

6.9. Connecting to Car Audio or External Speakers

The MONODEAL MD102-H can be connected to car audio systems or external speakers that have a 3.5mm AUX input.

Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm AUX audio cable to the headphone jack of the CD player.

7. Maintenance
