4.2 Mounting

This cooker hood is designed for wall mounting. Use the provided installation hardware and follow the instructions in the included manual for secure attachment to the wall. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the appliance's weight.

4.3 Ventilation Options (Evacuation or Recirculation)

The cooker hood supports both extraction (ducted) and recirculation (ductless) modes.

  • Extraction Mode: Connect the exhaust pipe to an external vent. This mode expels cooking fumes and odors outside your home.
  • Recirculation Mode: Install the carbon filters (Model CC170). In this mode, air is filtered through the carbon filters to remove odors and then recirculated back into the kitchen. No external ducting is required.

6.2 Cleaning and Replacing Grease Filters

The aluminum grease filter should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain extraction efficiency. It can be washed by hand with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.

6.3 Replacing Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode)

If you are using the cooker hood in recirculation mode, the carbon filters (Model CC170) need to be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage). Carbon filters cannot be washed and must be replaced when saturated. You can find replacement filters by searching for "CC170" or "B08GZD4JN4" on Amazon.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your cooker hood, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Cooker Hood Not Starting: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in and if the circuit breaker has tripped.
  • Low Suction Power: Ensure grease filters are clean and not clogged. If in recirculation mode, check if carbon filters need replacement. Verify that the exhaust pipe (if used) is not obstructed.
  • Excessive Noise: Check for loose components or obstructions in the fan. Ensure the hood is securely mounted.
  • LED Lights Not Working: Check if the light function is activated on the control panel. If individual lights are out, they may need replacement by a qualified technician.
