What's in the Box

  • Solar Pathway Light Units (8 Pack)
  • Ground Stakes
  • Instruction Manual

Setup & Installation

Follow these simple steps to set up your COXSENI Solar Pathway Lights:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all light units, pole sections, and ground stakes from the packaging.
  2. Activate the Light: Gently remove the solar panel from the top of the light unit. Locate the ON/OFF switch on the back of the solar panel and switch it to the 'ON' position.
  3. Assemble the Light Unit: Connect the pole sections to achieve your desired height. The lights support three different heights (14.5 in, 18.5 in, 25 in). Attach the ground stake firmly to the bottom pole section.
  4. Select Location: Choose a location in your outdoor space that receives ample direct sunlight for 6-8 hours daily. This is crucial for optimal battery charging and night-time illumination.
  5. Install in Ground: Firmly insert the assembled light unit into the ground. Ensure the solar panel is unobstructed and facing upwards to maximize sun exposure.

Operating Instructions

The COXSENI Solar Pathway Lights are designed for automatic operation:

  • Automatic On/Off: Once activated and placed in a suitable location, the lights will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
  • Charging: Ensure the solar panel receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for a full charge. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of illumination.
  • Performance Note: In winter and on cloudy days, the lights may work for fewer hours and less brightly due to reduced sunlight. This is normal and not a product defect.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your solar pathway lights, consider the following maintenance tips:

  • Clean Solar Panels: Regularly clean the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, leaves, or snow that may obstruct sunlight absorption. A clean panel ensures efficient charging.
  • Check Placement: Periodically check the ground stakes for stability and adjust if necessary, especially after heavy winds or rain.
  • Clear Obstructions: Ensure no new obstructions (e.g., growing plants, new structures) are blocking direct sunlight to the solar panel.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your COXSENI Solar Pathway Lights, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Lights do not turn on at night:
    • Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight (6-8 hours daily). Relocate the light if necessary.
    • Check for any obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt) on the solar panel and clean if necessary.
    • Ensure the light is not placed near other strong light sources at night (e.g., streetlights, porch lights), which might trigger the light sensor to keep the light off.
  • Lights are dim or only last for a short period:
    • The battery may not be fully charged. Ensure the solar panel receives maximum direct sunlight for several consecutive days.
    • Consider the weather conditions; cloudy or rainy days will significantly reduce charging efficiency.
    • The battery might be nearing the end of its lifespan. The lights use 1 AA rechargeable battery (included). Replacement may be necessary after extended use.
