4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation & Charging

1. Insert the 3.7V 800mAh lithium battery into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the battery and a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB adapter).
3. The charging time for the drone's battery is approximately 60 minutes.
4. For the remote control, insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the designated compartment.

4.2 Remote Control Setup

1. Power on the drone by long-pressing its power button. The drone's indicator lights will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. Power on the remote control by pressing its power button. The remote control will automatically sync with the drone. The drone's lights will become solid once paired.

4.3 App Connection (for FPV and advanced features)

1. Download the dedicated drone app from your smartphone's app store (Android or iOS).
2. Ensure the drone is powered on.
3. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named something like "KY908_XXXX").

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Takeoff and Landing

1. Place the drone on a flat, open surface.
2. Press the One-Touch Takeoff/Landing button on the remote control (or in the app) to initiate automatic takeoff. The drone will hover a few feet above the ground.
3. To land, press the One-Touch Takeoff/Landing button again. The drone will automatically descend and land.

5.2 Flight Controls

• Left Joystick: Controls altitude (up/down) and rotation (left/right).
• Right Joystick: Controls forward/backward and left/right movement.
• Headless Mode: Activates a mode where the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, simplifying control for beginners.

6. Camera Operation

• To take photos, briefly press the photo button on the remote control or tap the camera icon in the app.
• To record videos, long-press the video button on the remote control for more than one second or tap the video icon in the app.

7. Maintenance

• Regularly inspect propellers for damage. Replace any damaged propellers using the provided screwdriver and spare blades.
