4. Power Connection

Connect the dash cam to your car's 12V power outlet using the provided car charger. The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when you start the engine.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off & Recording

The dash cam automatically powers on and starts recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. To manually start or stop recording, press the power button once. To turn the camera on or off, long press the power button.

Loop Recording & G-Sensor

The loop recording feature ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest files when the TF card is full. The built-in G-sensor automatically detects collisions or sudden movements and locks the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten, providing crucial evidence.

24-Hour Parking Monitor

For continuous surveillance, the 24-hour parking monitor activates automatically upon detecting collisions while parked. This feature requires hardwiring the dash cam (hardwiring kit sold separately, ASIN: B0BG5DM5CL). It also supports time-lapse recording to conserve power and storage.

Two optional parking modes: G-sensor collision detection mode for emergency recording and time-lapse recording mode for extended surveillance.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, please refer to the detailed troubleshooting section in the included User Manual. Common issues and solutions include:

  • SD Card Not Recognized: Ensure the card is properly inserted and formatted to FAT32. If the issue persists, try a different recommended high-performance microSD card.
  • WiFi Connection Problems: Verify the dash cam is powered on and the WiFi hotspot is active. Ensure your phone's WLAN settings allow connection to the dash cam's WiFi.
  • GPS Not Connected: Ensure the vehicle is in an open area for GPS signal acquisition. GPS activation is typically confirmed by a voice prompt.
  • Camera Stays On After Engine Off: Check your car's 12V outlet settings. If it remains live after ignition off, consider using a hardwiring kit for proper parking mode functionality.
