Setup
Powering the Device:
Your SEMIER Boombox offers two power options:
- AC Power:
For continuous use, connect the included AC power cord to the AC input jack on the back of the unit and plug the other end into a standard 110V-50Hz wall outlet.

- Battery Power:
For portable use, the unit requires 4 x C cell batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
Operating Instructions
1. Playing Cassette Tapes
- Set the FUNCTION switch to the "TAPE/OFF" position.
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette compartment.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.
- Close the cassette compartment firmly.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob on the side to your desired listening level.
- Use F.FWD (Fast Forward) or F.REW (Fast Rewind) buttons to navigate through the tape.
- Press PAUSE to temporarily stop playback, and press again to resume.
- Press STOP/EJECT to stop playback and eject the tape.

2. Listening to AM/FM Radio
- Set the FUNCTION switch to the "RADIO" position.
- Select your desired band (AM or FM) using the BAND switch.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM, rotate the unit for best reception.
- Turn the TUNING knob on the side to find your desired radio station. The frequency scale will indicate the current station.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to your preferred listening level.

3. Converting Cassette to MP3 (USB Recording)
This feature allows you to digitize your old cassette tapes directly to a USB flash drive without needing a computer.
- Insert a cassette tape into the cassette compartment (refer to "Playing Cassette Tapes" section).
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the top of the unit.
- Set the FUNCTION switch to the "USB" position.
- Long press the REC (Record) button until the red light comes on. The recording will begin.
- To stop recording, press the STOP/EJECT button. The recorded MP3 file will be saved on your USB drive.

4. Voice Recording (to USB)
You can record audio directly to a USB flash drive using the built-in microphone.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
- Set the FUNCTION switch to the "USB" position.
- Long press the REC (Record) button until the red light comes on. The recording will begin via the built-in microphone.
- To stop recording, press the STOP/EJECT button. The recorded audio file will be saved on your USB drive.
5. Using the Earphone Jack
For private listening, plug any standard 3.5mm earphones or headphones into the PHONES jack located on the side of the unit. The main speaker will automatically mute when earphones are connected.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Cassette Head Cleaning: Periodically clean the cassette head, pinch roller, and capstan with a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol to ensure optimal sound quality and prevent tape damage.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries and store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
