5. Setup and Installation
This fixture is designed for easy hardwired installation. No assembly is required for the light fixture itself.
5.1 Pre-Installation
- Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker that supplies power to the light switch or outlet box where you will install the fixture. Turn off the power.
- Prepare the area: Clear the work area. Ensure you have all necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, safety glasses, gloves).
- Remove old fixture (if applicable): Carefully remove any existing light fixture.
5.2 Mounting the Fixture
- Attach the mounting bracket (back plate) to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
- Connect the electrical wires:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (live) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box (or to the green ground screw on the mounting bracket).
- Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
- Align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and stable.
Note: This fixture is hardwired and does not require additional assembly. The installation process is designed to be completed within approximately 15 minutes for experienced installers.
6. Operating Instructions
The SOLFART LED vanity light is designed for simple operation and features smooth dimming capabilities.
6.1 Turning On/Off
Once installed and power is restored, operate the light using your standard wall switch. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to illuminate the fixture and to the 'OFF' position to turn it off.

6.2 Dimming Functionality
This fixture is 0%-100% dimmable. To utilize the dimming feature, you must connect it to a compatible LED dimmer switch (not included). The light will adjust its brightness smoothly without flicker or noise when controlled by a suitable dimmer.

- Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the fixture. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish or acrylic.
- Inspection: Periodically check for any loose connections or damage to the fixture. If any issues are found, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
- The LED light source is integrated and not user-replaceable.
