5. Setup

5.1 Attaching the Safety Guard

The safety guard must be installed before operating the trimmer to ensure user safety and prevent debris from being thrown. Secure it using the provided screws and tools.

5.2 Installing Cutting Attachments

Your trimmer supports three types of cutting attachments: Alloy Saw Blade, Metal Blade, and String Trimmer Head with nylon strings. Choose the appropriate attachment for your task.

Three types of blades: Alloy Saw Blade for thick branches, Article Blades (metal blade) for thicker grass, Grass-beating head (string trimmer) for grass.

5.3 Adjusting the Handle and Pole

The trimmer features an adjustable telescopic pole and a foldable auxiliary handle for ergonomic comfort and reach. Use the retractable button to extend or shorten the pole and adjust the auxiliary handle to your preferred position.

5.4 Inserting the Battery

Ensure the battery is fully charged before use. Align the battery with the battery slot on the trimmer handle and push until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the release button and slide the battery out.

6. Operating Instructions

Before starting, ensure you have read the safety information and correctly assembled the trimmer.

6.1 Starting and Stopping the Trimmer

  1. To start, press the safety lock button and then squeeze the starting switch (trigger).
  2. To stop, release the starting switch.

6.2 Trimming and Edging

The trimmer head can be adjusted 90 degrees for versatile trimming and edging tasks. Use the head adjustment button to change the angle.

6.3 Using Different Blades

  • Nylon Strings: Ideal for trimming tender and shorter grass, providing gentle and efficient cutting.
  • Metal Blade: Suitable for cutting older and thicker grass, as well as tackling tough and overgrown areas.
  • Alloy Saw Blade: Best for cutting tree branches and tough shrubbery, making it suitable for thicker vegetation.

7. Maintenance

  • Blade/String Inspection: Regularly inspect blades for sharpness and damage. Replace dull or damaged blades. Check nylon strings for wear and replace as needed.
