1. Product Overview

The JOYING JY-UZS07N8 is a 9-inch single DIN car stereo system designed to enhance your in-car entertainment and navigation experience. It features a high-resolution touchscreen, integrated CarPlay and Android Auto, AM/FM radio, advanced audio processing with a 48-band EQ, DTS, and 5.1 surround sound capabilities. 2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Package Contents

Before beginning installation, verify that all components are present:

2.2 Wiring Connections

Carefully connect the provided harnesses and antennas to the corresponding ports on the back of the head unit. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent signal loss or malfunction.

• ISO Harness: Connects to your vehicle's main power and speaker wiring.
• 4G Antennas: Connect for cellular data access.
• USB Cables: For connecting external devices or data transfer.
• External Microphone: For hands-free calling and voice commands.
• GPS Antenna: Essential for accurate navigation.
• Optical Fiber and Coaxial Digital Output: If your external amplifier supports these inputs, connect for optimal sound quality.

2.3 Important Installation Notes

• Additional accessories such as an installation frame kit, special ISO harness, amplifier adapter, or CANbus decoder may be required depending on your car's specific model and configuration.
• This unit does not support factory car GPS antenna, original backup rear camera, factory Bluetooth, USB, or microphone. Use only the provided or compatible JOYING accessories.
• DAB+ digital radio adapter, DVR, OBDII scanner, reverse camera, TPMS, and steering wheel controller are not included and must be purchased separately if desired.

2.4 Removable Screen Adjustment

The screen can be moved up and down by 2.5 cm from its middle position to accommodate various dashboard designs and viewing preferences. This allows for flexible installation.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Initial Boot-up and Fast Boot Feature

The first boot-up may take approximately 30-40 seconds. Subsequent starts, once the car key is inserted, will initiate the fast boot feature, allowing the system to enter the user interface in approximately 2 seconds.

3.2 User Interface (UI) Navigation

The system features a deep-optimized user interface designed for intuitive car driving usage. Navigate through applications, settings, and media using the touchscreen. The main screen provides quick access to navigation, music, radio, and other frequently used functions.

3.3 4G Module and Internet Access

The unit includes a built-in 4G module. Insert a compatible SIM card (not included) to gain internet access. Note that the 4G module supports internet access only and cannot be used for phone calls or sending SMS messages.

3.4 GPS Navigation

The system features precise GPS navigation with included GPS antennas for faster real-time navigation. You can download Google offline maps for use in areas without internet connectivity. Mobile phone map data can also be synchronized via CarPlay or Android Auto.

3.5 CarPlay and Android Auto

Connect your smartphone via USB cable or Bluetooth to utilize Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows you to access navigation, make calls, and listen to music directly from your phone's apps on the car stereo's screen. The unit has built-in modules, so no extra devices are needed.

3.6 Audio Settings and DSP

The unit features a built-in Digital Sound Processor (DSP) with a 48-band equalizer and 20 preset sound effects. You can adjust the subwoofer output independently and fine-tune ultra-bass, bass, mid-bass, mid-sound, mid-treble, treble, and super-treble frequencies. DTS 5.1 panoramic surround sound effects are also available for an immersive audio experience.

3.7 Display Settings

• Colorful Lights Setting: Customize the button illumination color to match your car's dashboard.
• Day & Night Mode: The system automatically adjusts screen brightness for optimal visibility during the day and reduced glare at night.

3.8 HDMI Output

The unit provides HDMI output for digital image and sound. This allows for synchronous output of uncompressed audio and video signals to external displays, such as headrest monitors. This feature supports projection screen display for passengers while the driver uses the main screen for navigation.

3.9 AR Camera Support

During driving, you can freely switch between front and rear camera views to observe the surrounding environment. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use JOYING's AR camera, which is optimized for compatibility and provides clearer, more stable images.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your JOYING car stereo, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touchscreen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the display.
• Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates from the official JOYING website to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes.
• Connection Checks: Occasionally inspect all wiring connections to ensure they remain secure, especially after driving on rough terrain.
• Temperature Control: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your JOYING car stereo, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power: Check all power connections, including the ISO harness and vehicle's fuse box. Ensure the car's ignition is on.

• CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure your smartphone is compatible and that Bluetooth and/or USB connections are active and secure. Try restarting both the stereo and your phone.
