4. Installation

6. Setup and Parameter Configuration
The controller's parameters can be adjusted to suit specific application requirements. Follow these general steps to access and modify settings:
- Power On: Apply power to the controller. The display will show the current process value (PV).
- Access Setpoint: Press the SET button once to view the setpoint (SV). Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the setpoint. Press SET again to confirm and return to PV display.
- Access Parameter Menu: Press and hold the SET button for several seconds to enter the parameter menu. The display will show the first parameter code.
- Navigate Parameters: Use the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through parameter codes.
- Modify Parameter Value: Press SET to view the value of the selected parameter. Use UP and DOWN to change the value. Press SET to save the new value.
- Exit Menu: To exit the parameter menu, either scroll to the end of the menu or wait for a timeout, and the controller will automatically return to the normal operating display.

7. Operating Instructions

- Monitoring Temperature: The large red LED display shows the current temperature measured by the Pt1000 sensor.
- Setpoint Indication: The green LED next to 'SV' illuminates when the setpoint is being displayed or adjusted.
- Output Status: The red LED next to the relay symbol indicates the status of the relay output. It illuminates when the relay is active (e.g., heating element is on).
- Temperature Control: The controller will automatically activate or deactivate the relay output to maintain the temperature around the setpoint, based on the configured hysteresis or proportional band.
