2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.

- Do not use outdoors.

4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your Faber Sportz Blender:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the jars, blades, and lids with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
- Place Motor Base: Position the motor base on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure it is near a power outlet.
- Attach Blade Assembly: Select the appropriate blade assembly (Grinding or Multi Blade) for your task. Screw it onto the open end of the desired jar (500ml or 300ml) until secure.
- Fill Jar: Add your ingredients to the jar. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
- Mount Jar: Invert the assembled jar (with blade and ingredients) and place it onto the motor base. Twist clockwise until it locks securely into place.

5. Operating Instructions
The Faber Sportz Blender is designed for simple operation. Ensure the blender is properly assembled and locked before use.
General Operation
- After assembling the jar with ingredients and blade onto the motor base, plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- To start blending/grinding, press down on the jar. The motor will activate.
- To stop, release pressure on the jar. For continuous operation, twist the jar slightly to lock it in the 'on' position (if applicable to your model).
- Blend or grind until desired consistency is achieved. Do not operate continuously for more than 60 seconds to prevent overheating. Allow the motor to rest for at least 2 minutes between cycles.
- Once finished, unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
- Carefully remove the jar from the motor base by twisting counter-clockwise and lifting.
- Unscrew the blade assembly from the jar.

Specific Applications
- Smoothies & Liquidizing: Use the Multi Blade assembly. Add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or ice.
- Wet Grinding (Chutneys, Pastes): Use the Multi Blade assembly. Add a small amount of liquid if needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Dry Grinding (Spices, Grains): Use the Grinding Blade assembly. Ensure ingredients are completely dry. Process in short bursts for best results.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your blender.
- Always unplug the blender before cleaning.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
- Jars, Blades, and Lids: These parts are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry immediately. Be extremely careful when handling the blades as they are sharp.
- For quick cleaning, fill the jar with warm water and a drop of dish soap, attach the blade, and run the blender for a few seconds. Rinse thoroughly.
- Store the blender in a dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your blender, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
