5. Setup
5.1 Placement
Position the projector on a stable surface. The projection distance affects the screen size. Refer to the table below for recommended distances and screen sizes:

5.2 Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the projector's power input and then plug it into a power outlet.
5.3 Focus and Keystone Adjustment
To achieve a clear image, adjust the focus ring on the projector lens. If the image appears trapezoidal, use the keystone correction knob to adjust the image shape until it is rectangular. The TMY Y1 features a knob-style adjustment for keystone correction up to ±15 degrees.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.
6.2 Input Source Selection
Use the 'Source' button on the remote control or the projector's control panel to cycle through available input sources (HDMI, AV, USB, TF Card, DVD).
6.3 DVD Playback
The TMY Y1 has a built-in DVD player. Gently press the disc cover to open it, insert a compatible disc (CD, DVD, VCD, SVCD, CD-R/RW, DVD -R/+R, DVD+/-RW), and close the cover. Select 'DVD' as the input source. The projector does not support Blu-ray discs.

6.4 Bluetooth Connection
To connect external Bluetooth speakers or headphones:
- Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.
- On the projector, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu.
- Select your device from the list to pair.

6.5 Connecting External Devices
The projector supports various external devices:
- HDMI: Connect TV sticks, laptops, game consoles (e.g., PS4), or other HDMI-enabled devices using an HDMI cable. Select 'HDMI' input.
- USB: Insert a USB flash drive to play media files. Select 'USB' input.
- AV: Use the provided AV cable to connect older devices. Select 'AV' input.
- TF Card: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card to play media files. Select 'TF Card' input.
- Smartphone: For iOS devices, a Lightning to Digital AV Adapter is required. For Android devices, a Micro USB/Type-C to HDMI adapter or Google Chromecast is needed. Adapters are not included.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Lens: Use a soft lens cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lens. Avoid touching the lens with bare hands.
