2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: For outdoor use only. Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, or maintenance can cause injury or property damage. Read the installation, operating, and maintenance instructions thoroughly before installing or servicing this equipment.

  • Keep at least 24 inches (61 cm) away from combustible materials.
  • Do not use indoors or in enclosed spaces.

  • Do not attempt to move the fire pit while it is in operation or still hot.

3. Setup and Assembly

The SUNJOY fire pit table is designed for straightforward assembly. Refer to the separate assembly instructions provided in the product packaging for detailed, step-by-step guidance. Ensure all components are present before beginning assembly.

3.1 Components Overview

Before assembly, identify all parts. Key components include the main table frame, ceramic tile top, burner assembly, control panel, and access doors for the propane tank compartment.

3.2 Propane Tank Installation

  1. Ensure the gas control knob is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Open the easy access doors on the side of the fire pit table.
  3. Place a standard 20-pound propane gas cylinder (not included) into the designated storage space.
  4. Connect the gas hose from the fire pit to the propane tank valve. Hand-tighten securely.
  5. Check for gas leaks using a soapy water solution on all connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. Do not operate if a leak is detected.
  6. Close the access doors.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to safely ignite and operate your fire pit table.

4.1 Ignition

  1. Ensure the propane tank valve is fully open.
  2. Push and turn the control knob to the "LOW" position.
  3. Immediately press and hold the igniter button until the burner ignites. You may need to hold the button for a few seconds.
  4. Once ignited, continue to hold the control knob in for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
  5. Release the control knob. If the flame extinguishes, repeat steps 2-4.

4.2 Adjusting Flame Intensity

Once the burner is lit, you can adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob between the "LOW" and "HIGH" settings.

4.3 Shutting Down

  1. Turn the control knob to the "OFF" position.
  2. Close the valve on the propane tank.
  3. Allow the fire pit to cool completely before covering or moving.
