2. Setup
What's in the Box:

Initial Setup Steps:
- Format the SD Card: Before first use, insert the included 64GB SD card into the Micro SD Card Slot (5). Power on the dash cam and navigate to the settings menu to format the SD card. This ensures optimal performance and compatibility.
- Mounting the Dash Cam:

- Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
- Attach an electrostatic sticker to the windshield first, then apply the 3M adhesive bracket to the sticker. This allows for easier removal without leaving residue.
- Slide the main dash cam unit onto the GPS Mounting Bracket (2).
- Connecting Power: Connect the 12 ft Power Supply Cable with Car Charger to the Type-C Charging Port (4) on the dash cam and plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Connecting the Rear Camera: Connect the 1080P in-car Rear Camera (8) to the Rear Cam Connection Port (Type-C) (6) on the main unit. Route the cable neatly along the headliner and A-pillar using the provided installation tools and cable clips.
3. Operating Instructions
Touch Screen Navigation:
The 4-inch sensitive touchscreen allows for intuitive control. Tap on icons to access various functions and settings. Swipe to navigate through menus and recorded footage.

Recording Modes:
- Seamless Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records. When the SD card is full, it automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked footage.
- Quick Emergency Lock (G-sensor): The built-in G-sensor detects collisions and automatically locks the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten. You can also manually lock footage by tapping the lock icon on the screen.

Parking Monitor (24H):
The M580 offers four parking monitoring modes for 24-hour surveillance (requires a 3-lead Hardwire Kit, ASIN: B0BM9JL327):
- AUTO Turn Off: G-sensor detects collisions and records video when the camera is off.
- Normal Recording: G-sensor detects collisions and locks video while continuous recording.
- Time-Lapse: Records continuously for 24 hours at a low frame rate.
- Motion Detection: Automatically starts recording when motion is detected.

Wi-Fi Connectivity & App Usage:
The built-in 5GHz WiFi allows for fast data transfer to your smartphone via the AZDOME app. Download the app from your device's app store.

Once connected, you can:
- View real-time video feed.
- Playback recorded footage directly on your phone.
- Download videos to your phone's gallery.

4. Maintenance
SD Card Management:
- Regularly format the SD card (at least once a month) to ensure stable recording and prevent data corruption.
- Use a high-quality U3 or higher speed Micro SD card for optimal performance.
Cleaning:
- Gently wipe the camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust or smudges.
- Clean the touchscreen with a microfiber cloth to maintain responsiveness and clarity.
5. Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and the car charger. Check if the car's cigarette lighter socket is functioning.
- SD Card Not Detected/Recording Issues: Format the SD card via the dash cam's settings. Ensure the SD card is a high-speed (U3 or higher) card. Try a different SD card if issues persist.
- App Connectivity Problems: Ensure the dash cam's Wi-Fi is enabled. Disable cellular data on your phone before connecting to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network.
- Overheating: It is normal for the dash cam to get warm during operation, especially in hot weather. If it becomes excessively hot or shuts down, ensure it has proper ventilation and is not exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods when parked.
- Rear Camera Not Displaying: Check the connection cable between the main unit and the rear camera. Ensure it is securely plugged into both ports.
