Important Safety Instructions

Read and understand all safety information before operating this paint sprayer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Ventilation: Always operate the sprayer in a well-ventilated area to prevent the accumulation of flammable vapors.
  • Eye and Skin Protection: Wear safety glasses, a respirator, and protective clothing to prevent contact with paint and solvents.
  • Fire Hazard: Do not spray flammable materials near open flames, pilot lights, or other ignition sources. Ensure proper grounding.
  • High Pressure: The sprayer operates at high pressure (up to 3000 PSI). Never point the spray gun at yourself or others. Do not place hands or other body parts in front of the spray tip.
  • Hose Connections: Ensure all hose connections are extremely tight before operation to prevent leaks. A loose connection can cause liquid to leak or result in weak spray.

  2. Assemble the Sprayer:
    • Attach the high-pressure spray hose to the sprayer's outlet port and the spray gun. Ensure all connections are tightened very firmly using the provided wrenches to prevent leaks.
    • Connect the suction hose with filter to the suction hose inlet port.
    • Connect the return hose to the return hose inlet port.
    • If needed, attach the extension rod to the spray gun for hard-to-reach areas.
  3. Prepare the Paint: This sprayer is designed for unthinned paint. Ensure the paint is suitable for airless sprayers. Stir the paint thoroughly.
  4. Place Hoses: Submerge the suction hose filter into the paint container. Place the return hose into a waste bucket or back into the paint container for priming.

Operating Instructions

  1. Priming the Sprayer:
    • Turn the Prime/Spray switch to the "Prime" position.
    • Turn on the sprayer's ON/OFF switch.
    • Allow the sprayer to run until paint flows smoothly from the return hose, indicating that air has been purged from the system. This may take a few minutes.
    • Once primed, turn off the sprayer.
  2. Adjusting Flow Control:

Figure 2: The adjustable flow control knob allows pressure adjustment from 500 PSI to 3000 PSI.

The output pressure can be adjusted using the control valve knob. Rotate the knob to increase or decrease pressure (ranging from 500 PSI to 3000 PSI) to suit your paint type and desired finish.

  3. Spraying:
    • Turn the Prime/Spray switch to the "Spray" position.
    • Turn on the sprayer.
    • Point the spray gun at a test surface to check the spray pattern and adjust pressure as needed.
    • Maintain a consistent distance from the surface and move the gun in smooth, even strokes. Overlap each pass by approximately 50% for uniform coverage.
    • For hard-to-reach areas, utilize the 50cm (19.7in) extension rod.

Figure 4: The spray gun is designed for easy cleaning by running water or solvent through it.

  1. Depressurize the System: Always depressurize the sprayer before cleaning or maintenance. Turn off the sprayer, engage the trigger lock, and then point the gun into a waste bucket and release the trigger to relieve pressure.
  2. Flush with Cleaning Solution:
    • Remove the suction hose from the paint and place it into a bucket of appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints).
    • Place the return hose into the same cleaning solution bucket.
    • Turn the Prime/Spray switch to "Prime" and turn on the sprayer. Allow the cleaning solution to circulate until it runs clear from the return hose.
    • Turn the Prime/Spray switch to "Spray". Point the spray gun into the waste bucket and spray until the cleaning solution runs clear.
    • Turn off the sprayer and depressurize the system.
  3. Clean Components:
    • Remove the spray tip and guard. Clean them thoroughly with the appropriate solvent and a brush.
    • Clean the suction hose filter.
    • Wipe down the exterior of the sprayer and hoses.
  4. Storage: Store the cleaned sprayer in a dry, safe place.
