Maintenance

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and hygiene.

Daily Maintenance

  • Empty and rinse the water tank and base daily.
  • Wipe down the mist outlet and exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

Weekly Cleaning

  1. Unplug the humidifier and empty any remaining water.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the water tank, mist pipe, and any other removable parts.
  3. Descaling (if needed): For mineral buildup (white dust), fill the base with 1 cup of white vinegar and let it sit for 30 minutes. For the water tank, add 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar and fill with water, shake, and let sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Rinse: Thoroughly rinse all components with clean water until the smell of vinegar is gone.
  5. Wipe Dry: Wipe all surfaces dry with a clean cloth.
  6. Reassemble: Put all parts back together.

Demineralization Cartridge: If you live in a hard water area, consider using a Dreo demineralization cartridge (sold separately) to reduce mineral buildup and white dust. Refer to the cartridge packaging for replacement instructions.
