5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.
4. Ensure the microphones are also charged if their battery is low.

A full charge provides approximately 5-10 hours of playback time.

5.2 Power On/Off

• Speaker: Press and hold the Power button on the speaker to turn it on or off.
• Microphones: Press and hold the Power button on each microphone to turn it on or off. The microphones will automatically pair with the speaker when both are powered on.

5.3 Bluetooth Connection

The K12 Karaoke Machine uses Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless audio streaming.

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a voice prompt or LED).
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other compatible device.
3. Search for available devices and select "K12" from the list.
4. Once connected, a confirmation sound will play. You can now stream audio from your device to the K12 speaker.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Music Playback

• Bluetooth: After connecting via Bluetooth, play music from your paired device.
• USB/TF Card: Insert a USB drive or TF card with MP3 files into the respective slot. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playback.
• AUX Input: Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the AUX port. The speaker will switch to AUX mode.

6.2 Volume Control

• Speaker Volume: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the speaker to adjust the overall music volume.
• Microphone Volume: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on each microphone to adjust its individual volume.
• Source Device Volume: You can also adjust the volume on your connected mobile phone or tablet.

6.3 Microphone Voice Effects

The microphones feature multiple voice effects to enhance your singing experience:

1. Press the Voice Effect button on the microphone to cycle through the available effects.
2. Available effects include: Baby Voices, Male Voices, Female Voices, Monster Voices, and Vocal Restore (normal voice).

6.4 LED Lighting Effects

The speaker features colorful LED lights that synchronize with the music, creating an engaging atmosphere. The device offers 6 Symphony LED Lamp Beads and 5 kinds of RGB Atmosphere Lighting Effects. These lights activate automatically when the speaker is in use.
