Assembly typically requires two adults. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the included assembly guide. Ensure you have ample space and the necessary tools (e.g., screwdriver, hammer) before starting.
General Assembly Steps:
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components and hardware. Compare them with the parts list in your assembly guide.

5. Operating Instructions
Moving the Cart:
The GIANTEX Kitchen Cart is equipped with four 360° rolling casters for easy mobility. To move the cart, ensure the brakes on the front casters are disengaged. Use the side handle to push or pull the cart to your desired location.

Locking the Cart:
Once the cart is in position, engage the brakes on the two front casters by pressing down on the lever. This will lock the wheels and prevent the cart from moving unintentionally, ensuring stability during use.
Utilizing Storage:
- Countertop: The large rubberwood countertop provides ample space for food preparation, serving, or displaying kitchen appliances.
- Drawers: Two smooth-sliding drawers offer convenient storage for utensils, napkins, or smaller kitchen gadgets.
- Cabinets: The three double cabinets below feature adjustable shelves, allowing you to customize the storage space for pots, pans, dishes, or other larger items.
- Side Handle: The integrated side handle can also be used to hang towels or other accessories.
6. Maintenance
Cleaning:
The cart features a smooth surface that is easy to clean. For daily maintenance, simply wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and then wipe dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.

Care for Rubberwood Countertop:
The rubberwood countertop is naturally water-resistant. To prolong its life and maintain its appearance, it is recommended to periodically treat it with food-grade mineral oil, especially if used for food preparation. This helps to protect the wood and prevent drying or cracking.
Hardware Check:
Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose hardware to maintain the cart's stability and structural integrity.
7. Troubleshooting
- Cart is wobbly after assembly: Ensure all screws and fasteners are fully tightened. Check that the cart is on a level surface.
- Drawers do not slide smoothly: Verify that the drawer slides are correctly installed and aligned. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the slides if needed.
- Casters are not locking: Check that the brake levers on the casters are fully engaged. Ensure no debris is obstructing the locking mechanism.
- Doors are misaligned: Adjust the hinges on the cabinet doors to correct any misalignment.
- Missing parts: Refer to the package contents list. If parts are genuinely missing, contact GIANTEX customer support with your model number and purchase information.
