Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. For the HD glass panel, use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the clock hands stop moving or the LCD display becomes dim or unresponsive. Always use new AA carbon batteries for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting

  • Clock not keeping accurate time: Ensure the battery for the clock movement is fresh and correctly installed. If the issue persists, replace the battery.
  • LCD display not working or dim: Check the battery for the LCD display. Replace it if necessary. Ensure correct polarity.
  • Temperature display incorrect: The temperature sensor requires a few minutes to stabilize after initial setup or battery replacement. Ensure the clock is not exposed to direct heat sources or drafts that could affect readings.
  • Cannot switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit: Double-press the 'UP' button on the LCD display module. If it doesn't respond, check the LCD battery.
