- This heater is designed for 240V electrical systems and requires a dedicated circuit. It does not use a traditional plug. Professional electrical installation is highly recommended to ensure proper wiring and safety.
- Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or if the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- The heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- The heater is equipped with an alarm light and a built-in sensor to monitor temperature. The light will turn on if parts of the heater get too hot, and the unit will automatically shut off if overheating is detected.

This VIVOSUN garage heater is a 240V unit with a no-plug design, requiring direct wiring to a dedicated circuit. It is crucial to follow all local electrical codes and safety regulations. We strongly advise hiring a licensed electrician for installation.
Installation Steps:
- Turn off Power: Ensure power is turned off at the main circuit breaker panel before beginning any electrical work.
- Access Wiring: Remove all screws from the bottom panel of the heater to access the wiring compartment.
- Run Wiring: Run the appropriate gauge wiring (e.g., #10 AWG for 40A breaker) through a cut-out on the side of the heater. Connect the wires to the Power Block inside the heater. This heater requires connection to 240V double live wires and does not require a neutral wire.
- Secure Connections: Torque all terminal screws and power block lugs tightly with the required torque (40 in-lbs).
- Mounting: The heater can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Use the provided mounting bracket and hardware. Ensure the mounting surface can support the heater's weight (approximately 20 lbs) and that there is sufficient clearance around the unit (minimum 13 inches from wall, 7 3/8 inches from ceiling, and 8 feet from floor).
- Adjust Angles: Once securely mounted, adjust the vertical angles and louvers to direct heat as needed.
- Restore Power: After installation is complete and all connections are secure, turn on power at the main circuit breaker panel.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel & Remote Functions:
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the heater on or off.
- Mode Selection: Cycle through the three modes: 'Fan only', 'Low (5600W)', and 'High (8500W)'.
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the temperature up/down buttons to set your desired temperature between 50°F to 95°F (10°C-35°C). The built-in thermostat will maintain this temperature.
- Timer Function: Activate the 8-hour timer to automatically shut off the heater after a set period.

Troubleshooting

- Heater Not Turning On:
- Check the main circuit breaker to ensure power is supplied to the heater.
- Verify that the heater is properly wired for 240V. If the fan runs slowly, it may indicate incorrect voltage (e.g., 120V instead of 240V).
- Ensure the power button on the unit or remote is pressed.
- Heater Not Producing Heat:
- Check the selected mode; ensure it is set to 'Low' or 'High' heat, not 'Fan only'.
- Verify the thermostat setting. If the ambient temperature is above the set temperature, the heater will not activate.
