6. Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your walking pad.

6.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the walking pad before cleaning.
  • Wipe down the frame and display with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Periodically vacuum under the walking pad to remove dust and debris.

6.2 Belt Lubrication

The walking belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and wear. Refer to the specific instructions provided with your lubrication oil (not always included, may need to be purchased separately).

  • Typically, lubrication is needed every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
  • Lift the edge of the walking belt and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the center of the deck.
  • Run the walking pad at a low speed for a few minutes to distribute the lubricant.

6.3 Belt Adjustment

If the walking belt starts to slip or drift to one side, it may need adjustment.

  • Centering: If the belt drifts to one side, use an Allen wrench (if provided) to turn the adjustment bolt on the side it's drifting towards, a quarter turn clockwise. If it drifts to the other side, turn the opposite bolt clockwise. Run the walking pad for a few minutes and re-check.
  • Tensioning: If the belt slips during use, it may be too loose. Turn both rear adjustment bolts a quarter turn clockwise simultaneously. Do not overtighten.
