3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the transmitter (refer to Figure 2.2).
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 2S 6500mAh battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Securely close the battery compartment cover.

3.2 Initial Power-On

  1. Ensure the battery is correctly installed.
  2. Press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates.
  3. The transmitter will boot into the EdgeTX firmware. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup, such as language selection and calibration.

3.3 Binding with Receiver

The RADIOMASTER Boxer uses ExpressLRS 2.4GHz for communication. The binding process typically involves placing both the transmitter and receiver into bind mode. Refer to your receiver's specific manual for detailed binding instructions.

  1. Power on the transmitter.
  2. Navigate to the ExpressLRS menu within EdgeTX.
