Setup Guide
- Charge the Device: Before first use, ensure the endoscope is fully charged using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the charging port on the side of the monitor and the USB-A end to a compatible power adapter (not included) or computer.
- Connect the Inspection Cable: Align the connector of the 16.5FT inspection cable with the port on top of the DS590 monitor. Gently screw it in until secure. Ensure a firm connection for stable image transmission.
- Power On: Press and hold the power button located on the top of the monitor until the DEPSTECH logo appears on the screen. The device will boot up and display the live camera feed.
- Insert TF Card: The 32GB TF card is typically pre-installed. If not, locate the TF card slot on the side of the monitor and insert the card until it clicks into place. This card is essential for saving photos and videos.

Operating Instructions
Basic Camera Functions
- Live View: Once powered on, the 5-inch IPS display will show the live feed from the camera.
- Adjusting LED Lights: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control unit to increase or decrease the brightness of the LED lights on the camera probe. There are three adjustable brightness levels.
- Switching Cameras (Dual Lens): The DS590 features dual lenses (front and side). Use the dedicated camera switch button (often labeled with a camera icon or 'M') to toggle between the front camera, side camera, or a split-screen view showing both simultaneously.
- Image Rotation: Press the 180° rotation button (often a circular arrow icon) to flip the image on the screen, which is useful when navigating tight spaces and the camera orientation changes.

Capturing Media
- Take a Photo: Press the orange Photo/Video button once quickly to capture a still image.
- Record a Video: Press and hold the orange Photo/Video button to start recording. Press and hold again to stop recording. A red dot or timer on the screen indicates active recording.
- Accessing Gallery: Press the 'OK' button to enter the album/gallery mode to review captured photos and videos. Use the navigation buttons to browse.
Settings Menu
Press the 'Menu' button (gear icon) to access system settings. Here you can adjust:
- Resolution: Set video and image resolution (e.g., 1080P).
- Auto Power-Off: Configure automatic shutdown time to conserve battery.
- Time Setting: Adjust date and time.
- Language: Select your preferred language.
- Screen Brightness: Adjust the display brightness.
- Format: Format the TF card (this will erase all data).
- Reset System: Restore factory settings.
- Storage Space: View available storage on the TF card.

Maintenance
- Cleaning the Probe: After each use, especially in dirty or wet environments, gently wipe the camera probe with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn grime, a mild detergent can be used. Ensure the probe is dry before storage.
- Cleaning the Screen: Use a microfiber cloth to clean the IPS display. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the screen.
- Storage: Store the endoscope and its accessories in the provided hardshell case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, charge the device regularly and avoid completely draining the battery frequently. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50-70%.
Troubleshooting
- No Signal on Screen:
- Ensure the inspection cable is securely connected to the monitor.
- Check if the device is powered on.
- Poor Image Quality:
- Clean the camera lens.
- Adjust the LED light brightness.
- Ensure the object being viewed is within the camera's focal range.
- Device Not Turning On:
- Charge the battery.
- If the issue persists, try resetting the device using the reset pinhole (refer to Figure 2 for location).
- Cannot Save Photos/Videos:
- Check if the TF card is properly inserted.
- Ensure there is sufficient storage space on the TF card. Format the card if necessary (this will erase all data).
