Setup

1. Charging the Scanner

Before first use, fully charge the scanner. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the scanner's power port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The indicator light will show charging status.

2. Connectivity Options

The NETUM E950 offers three connection methods:

2.1. Bluetooth Mode (Wireless)

Ideal for connecting to smartphones, tablets (iOS, Android), and computers (Windows, macOS) wirelessly. Supports HID, SPP, and BLE modes.

  1. Turn on the scanner.
  2. Scan the "Bluetooth Pairing" barcode from the manual (refer to the physical manual for specific barcodes).
  3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for "NETUM Barcode Scanner" or similar.
  4. Select the scanner to pair. A successful connection will be indicated by a specific beep or light pattern on the scanner.

2.2. 2.4G Wireless Mode (with USB Dongle)

Provides a stable wireless connection for computers (Windows, macOS, Linux) using the included USB dongle.

  1. Plug the 2.4G USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Turn on the scanner.
  3. Scan the "2.4G Wireless Mode" barcode from the manual. The scanner will automatically connect to the dongle.

2.3. USB Wired Mode

For direct connection to computers (Windows, macOS, Linux) via USB cable. This mode also charges the device.
