This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your XIAOVV Q2 3MP PTZ Indoor Security Camera. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper functionality and safety. The XIAOVV Q2 camera offers high-definition surveillance with pan-tilt-zoom capabilities, two-way audio, motion detection, and secure data storage options.

3. Product Overview
The XIAOVV Q2 camera features a compact design with a rotating head for wide area coverage. Key components include the camera lens, microphone, speaker, status indicator light, power port, and microSD card slot.

4. Setup
4.1. Download the XIAOVV App
Search for "XIAOVV" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the QR code on the product packaging to download the official application.

4.2. Account Registration
Open the XIAOVV app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account. Ensure you use a valid email address or phone number for verification.
4.3. Connect the Camera to Wi-Fi
- Power on the camera using the provided power adapter and USB cable.
- Wait for the camera's indicator light to flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
- In the XIAOVV app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Select your camera model (Q2) and follow the in-app instructions to connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: The camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens.
- Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
After successful setup, tap on the camera in the app to access the live view. Use the on-screen joystick or swipe gestures to control the camera's pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (75° vertical) movements.

5.2. Two-Way Audio
Tap the microphone icon in the live view interface to enable two-way audio. You can speak through your phone, and your voice will be transmitted through the camera's speaker. Similarly, you can hear audio from the camera's environment.
5.3. Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera features intelligent motion detection. When movement is detected, the camera can automatically track the object and send instant notifications to your smartphone. You can customize alert sensitivity and schedules in the app settings.

5.4. Night Vision
The camera automatically switches between day and night modes based on ambient light conditions. It provides clear black-and-white night vision up to 3 meters in complete darkness.

5.5. Privacy Mode
Activate the privacy mode with a single tap in the app. This physically rotates the camera lens upwards, blocking the view, and simultaneously activates a software privacy shield for enhanced data protection.
5.6. Video Recording and Storage
The camera supports two storage options:
- MicroSD Card: Insert a microSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's slot for continuous local recording.
- Cloud Storage: Subscribe to cloud services via the app for secure, remote storage of your video recordings.
All recorded data is protected with military-grade encryption to ensure your privacy.

5.7. Sharing with Family
You can share access to your camera's live feed and recordings with family members through the XIAOVV app. This allows multiple users to monitor the same location simultaneously.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

- Placement: Ensure the camera is placed in a stable location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
