Installation
The DT230-1LW switch features a shallow design for easy fitting into standard wallboxes. A neutral wire is required for installation. The switch supports single-pole, multi-way (with a DD0SR Switch Companion), or multi-timer (using two DT230 Countdown Timers) configurations.

Operation
The countdown timer switch provides four preset time options: 5, 10, 15, and 30 minutes. Pressing any of these buttons will activate the connected device for the selected duration. The device will automatically turn off once the time expires. A dedicated manual off button is also available.
- To Turn On and Set Timer: Press the desired time button (5M, 10M, 15M, or 30M). The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate.
- To Change Timer During Operation: Press a different time button. The new time will be set, and the countdown will restart from that duration.
- To Turn Off Manually: Press the bottom-most button (labeled 'OFF' or similar, typically the lowest button without a time value).
- Locator LED: A small LED light at the bottom of the switch illuminates when the switch is off, making it easy to locate in the dark.

Maintenance

- Faceplate Customization: The switch's appearance can be customized by changing the faceplate. DTKIT faceplates are available in various colors (white, ivory, light almond, gray, black, and brown) and are sold separately.
