Setup

1. Unboxing and Placement

Carefully remove the Skylight Calendar from its packaging. Decide on your preferred placement: wall-mounted or on a countertop using the included stand. The device is designed to fit naturally into various spaces like kitchens, hallways, or home offices.

2. Power Connection

3. Wi-Fi Connection

4. Calendar Syncing

Operating Instructions

1. Navigating the Interface

The Skylight Calendar features an intuitive touchscreen interface. Swipe left or right to navigate between different views (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly). Tap on events or tasks to view details or make edits.

2. Managing Calendars and Events

Download the free Skylight app on your smartphone to manage your calendar, tasks, and lists from anywhere. The app provides real-time updates and ensures everyone is up to date.

6. Optional Premium Plus Plan

An optional premium Plus Plan is available, unlocking additional features such as Magic Import, photo screensaver, advanced meal planning, and stars & rewards for the chore chart.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Display

To clean the touchscreen display, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Software Updates

The Skylight Calendar may receive automatic software updates to improve performance and add new features. Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi to receive these updates.

Battery Warning (Internal)

WARNING: This product contains a non-replaceable button cell or coin battery. Ingestion of this battery can cause severe injury or death in as little as 2 hours. Keep new and used batteries OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Powering On

• Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the device and a working electrical outlet.
• Try a different outlet to rule out power source issues.

Unable to Connect to Wi-Fi

• Verify your Wi-Fi password is correct.
• Ensure the device is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
• Restart your Wi-Fi router and the Skylight Calendar.
• Check if your network is 2.4GHz, as some devices may not support 5GHz networks.

Calendar Sync Issues

• Confirm your internet connection is active.
• Check the login credentials for your synced calendar accounts (Google, iCloud, etc.).
• Ensure the correct calendars are selected for syncing within the Skylight Calendar settings.

Touchscreen Unresponsive

• Gently clean the screen to remove any dirt or smudges.
• Restart the device by unplugging it for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in.
