- To extend, gently pull the TV away from the wall.
- To retract, gently push the TV back towards the wall until it reaches the desired position.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Periodic Checks: Every few months, check that all screws and connections are tight and secure. Loose connections can lead to instability.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Lubrication: If the arm movement becomes stiff over time, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the pivot points.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GRIFEMA GB1008-1 TV wall mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- TV feels unstable or wobbly:
Solution: Ensure all wall plate screws and TV plate screws are securely tightened. Verify that the wall type is appropriate for the mount and that anchors are correctly installed. Re-check the TV's weight against the mount's capacity. - Difficulty adjusting tilt or swivel:
Solution: Check if any adjustment knobs or bolts are overtightened. Loosen them slightly to allow movement, then re-tighten once the desired position is achieved. If movement is stiff, apply a small amount of lubricant to the joints. - TV is not level:
Solution: Use the 360-degree rotation feature to adjust the horizontal level of the screen. Ensure the wall plate was installed level during the initial setup.
If problems persist, please contact GRIFEMA customer support for further assistance.
