This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your FEIYUE FYe310 Sewing Machine. Please read all instructions carefully before using the machine to ensure proper function and longevity.
Safety Instructions
- Always unplug the machine from the electrical outlet when removing covers, lubricating, or when making any other user servicing adjustments mentioned in the instruction manual.
- Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine needle.
- Use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.
- Do not use bent needles.
- Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. This may deflect the needle causing it to break.
- Wear safety glasses.
- Turn off the sewing machine power switch when the screen shows a fault.

Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove the sewing machine and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Power Connection
Connect the foot pedal and power cord to the machine, then plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Spool Pin and Thread Placement
Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin. Ensure the thread unwinds smoothly.
4. Bobbin Winding
Follow the numbered guides on the machine to correctly wind the bobbin. Ensure the thread is taut for even winding.

5. Threading the Upper Thread
Raise the presser foot and turn the handwheel to raise the take-up lever to its highest point. Guide the thread through the tension module and take-up lever as indicated by the machine's threading path. Ensure the thread is firmly seated in all guides.

6. Inserting the Bobbin
Open the bobbin cover plate and insert the wound bobbin. Follow the threading path for the bobbin thread, ensuring it is correctly tensioned. Close the cover plate.
Operating
1. Stitch Selection (Pattern and Length)
Use the pattern selector dial to choose your desired stitch (e.g., straight stitch, zigzag, decorative stitches). Adjust the stitch length dial to set the appropriate length for your fabric and project. The machine offers 105 stitch applications, including buttonhole, decorative, and stretch stitches.

2. Automatic Needle Threader
To use the automatic needle threader, ensure the needle is in its highest position. Lower the presser foot. Pull down the threader lever while holding the end of the thread, rotate the lever to the rear of the machine, and release the lever. The thread will be pulled through the needle eye. Release the lever and pull the thread away from you.
3. Reverse Stitching
Press and hold the reverse stitch lever to sew in reverse. This is useful for securing the beginning and end of seams.
4. Adjusting Thread Tension
The thread tension can be adjusted using the tension dial. Most sewing projects will use a tension setting between '3' and '5'. Adjust as needed to achieve balanced stitches.
5. Adjusting Presser Foot Height
The presser foot height can be adjusted to accommodate different fabric thicknesses. Raise the presser foot for thicker materials like denim, as shown in Figure 4.

6. Feed Dog Position
The feed dog position can be adjusted for specialized sewing techniques such as free-motion quilting or darning. Refer to the manual for specific instructions on adjusting the feed dog.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Bobbin Area
Regularly clean the bobbin case and feed dog area to remove lint and thread buildup. Use the provided cleaning brush. Turn off the machine before cleaning.
2. Needle Replacement
Replace the needle regularly, especially if it becomes bent or dull. Always use the correct needle type and size for your fabric to prevent breakage and ensure optimal stitch quality.
Troubleshooting
1. Thread Jam Fault
If the machine stops and indicates a thread jam fault, immediately turn off the machine. Open the bobbin cover plate and carefully remove any tangled threads from the bobbin case and surrounding area. Ensure the bobbin is correctly inserted and threaded before resuming operation.

2. Stitch Quality Issues
