Introduction

Safety Instructions

• Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine needle.
• Use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.
• Do not use bent needles.
• Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. This may deflect the needle causing it to break.
• Always turn off the sewing machine when making any adjustments in the needle area, such as threading the needle, changing the needle, threading the bobbin, or changing the presser foot.
• Never operate the sewing machine with any air openings blocked. Keep ventilation openings of the sewing machine and foot controller free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and loose cloth.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Placement

Carefully remove the sewing machine from its packaging. Place it on a stable, flat surface with adequate lighting. Ensure the power cord is accessible for connection.

2. Power Connection

Connect the foot pedal to the machine and then plug the machine into a suitable electrical outlet. Use the on/off switch located on the side of the machine to power it on.

3. Threading the Machine

Proper threading is crucial for smooth operation. Follow the numbered guides on the machine for upper thread and bobbin winding.

3.1. Upper Threading

Place the spool of thread on the spool pin. Guide the thread through the thread guides and tension module as indicated by the diagrams on the machine. Ensure the presser foot is raised when threading through the tension disks.

3.2. Automatic Needle Threader

3.3. Bobbin Winding and Insertion

Wind the bobbin according to the machine's instructions, then insert it into the bobbin case. Ensure the thread is correctly routed through the tension spring.

4. Changing the Needle and Presser Foot

To change the needle or presser foot, ensure the machine is turned off. Loosen the screw holding the component, replace it, and tighten the screw. Refer to the video for detailed instructions.

Operating Instructions

1. Selecting Stitches

The FYe310 offers 25 built-in stitches. Use the stitch selector dial to choose the desired stitch pattern. The machine includes basic, decorative, and stretch stitches.

2. Adjusting Stitch Length and Width

3. Using the Foot Pedal

The foot pedal controls the sewing speed. Press gently for slower speeds and apply more pressure for faster sewing. Always maintain control over the fabric.

4. Backstitch Function

5. Sewing Thick Fabrics

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regularly clean the bobbin area and feed dogs to remove lint and dust. Use a soft brush or lint brush for this purpose. Ensure the machine is unplugged before cleaning.

2. Oiling the Needle Bar
