What's Included

Your kit contains the following components:

  • 10 Smooth River Rocks
  • 10 Paint Colors (Yellow, Black, Red, White, Blue, Green, Purple, Orange, Pink, Brown)
  • 30 Googly Eyes
  • 2 Sheets of Spooky Transfer Decals
  • 1 Paint Palette
  • 1 Paintbrush

Setup

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Choose a flat, well-lit area. Cover your work surface with newspaper or a protective sheet to prevent paint stains.
  2. Clean the Rocks: Ensure all river rocks are clean and dry before beginning. Gently wipe them with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry completely.
  3. Prepare Paints: Squeeze a small amount of each desired paint color onto the paint palette. This allows for easier access and mixing.

Operating Instructions: Painting and Decorating

1. Applying Transfer Decals

  1. Cut out the desired transfer decal from the sheet using scissors.
  2. Peel off the clear plastic cover from the front of the decal.
  3. Place the decal face-down onto the clean, dry rock in your desired position. Press firmly.
  4. Using a wet sponge or cloth, dab the back of the decal paper until it is completely saturated.
  5. Wait for 30-60 seconds, then carefully peel off the paper. The image should now be transferred to the rock. Allow the decal to dry completely before painting over it.

2. Painting Your Rocks

  2. Refer to the included instruction guide for step-by-step tutorials on creating various creepy creatures like pumpkins, mummies, ghosts, and Frankenstein monsters.
  3. Allow each layer of paint to dry before applying the next to prevent smudging.

  2. Carefully place the googly eye onto your painted rock in the desired position.
  3. Repeat for all desired googly eyes and allow the glue to dry thoroughly.

  • Storing Paints: Ensure paint caps are securely closed to prevent drying. Store paints in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

  • Paint Too Thick: If the acrylic paint is too thick, add a very small drop of water and mix thoroughly.
