2. Safety Information

WARNING: Read, understand, and follow all instructions before operating this device. Failure to heed these warnings may result in personal injury and/or property damage.

  • This jack is designed for lifting part of the total vehicle.
  • Do not move or dolly the vehicle while it is on the jack.
  • Immediately after lifting, support the vehicle with appropriate means, such as jack stands.
  • Lift only on areas of the vehicle as specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • No alterations shall be made to this product.
  • Use only on hard, level surfaces.

3. Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. The handle typically comes in two pieces and needs to be assembled and secured to the jack body.

  1. Connect the Handle: Insert the two handle pieces together. Secure them by aligning the pin and hole, ensuring a firm connection.
  2. Attach Handle to Jack: Place the assembled handle into the handle socket on the jack. Turn the handle clockwise until it is fully tightened to secure it.
  3. Purge Air from Hydraulic System: Before initial use, it is recommended to purge any air from the hydraulic system. To do this, turn the release valve counter-clockwise to fully open it. Pump the handle several times to expel air. Close the release valve by turning it clockwise.

4. Operating Instructions

Always ensure the vehicle is on a hard, level surface and the parking brake is engaged before lifting. Use appropriate wheel chocks.

  1. Position the Jack: Locate the vehicle's designated lifting points (refer to your vehicle's owner's manual). Position the jack's saddle directly under the lifting point. Ensure the foam bumper on the handle protects your vehicle from damage during positioning.
  2. Raise the Vehicle: Turn the release valve clockwise until it is firmly closed. Pump the handle up and down to raise the saddle to the desired height. The dual-piston quick-lift pump allows for efficient lifting.
  3. Secure with Jack Stands: Once the vehicle is lifted to the desired height, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's designated support points. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a floor jack.
  4. Lower the Vehicle: Slowly turn the release valve counter-clockwise to gradually lower the vehicle onto the jack stands. Once the vehicle is fully supported by the jack stands, remove the floor jack. If removing the jack stands, ensure the jack is properly positioned under the lifting point before removing the stands, then slowly lower the vehicle completely to the ground.

5. Maintenance

  • Hydraulic Fluid: Periodically check the hydraulic fluid level. If low, add high-quality hydraulic jack oil. Do not use brake fluid or other non-approved fluids.
  • Lubrication: Keep all moving parts of the jack clean and lubricated with light machine oil.
  • Cleaning: Clean the jack regularly to remove dirt, grease, and debris. This helps prevent corrosion and ensures smooth operation.
  • Storage: Store the jack in a clean, dry place with the ram fully retracted to prevent rust and prolong seal life.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Jack does not lift: Ensure the release valve is fully closed. Check hydraulic fluid level and add if necessary. Purge air from the system as described in the Setup section.
  • Jack lifts slowly or erratically: This may indicate air in the hydraulic system. Purge air as described in the Setup section. Check for leaks in the hydraulic system.
  • Jack leaks fluid: Inspect seals for damage. If leaks persist, contact customer support for assistance.
  • Jack does not lower: Ensure the release valve is fully open. Check for obstructions.
