5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

5.3 CPU Installation (Socket AM5)

  1. Locate the AM5 CPU socket on the motherboard.
  2. Lift the retention lever and open the CPU socket cover.
  3. Carefully align the triangular mark on the CPU with the mark on the socket.
  4. Gently place the CPU into the socket without forcing it.
  5. Close the socket cover and press down the retention lever until it clicks into place.

5.4 Memory (RAM) Installation

  1. Open the clips at both ends of the DDR5 DIMM slots.
  2. Align the notch on the DDR5 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot.
  3. Insert the module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place.
  4. For dual-channel operation, install modules in both available slots.

5.5 Storage (M.2 SSD) Installation

  1. Locate the PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 connector.
  2. Remove the M.2 standoff screw from the motherboard.
  3. Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at a 30-degree angle.
  4. Gently push down the SSD and secure it with the M.2 screw.

5.6 Graphics Card Installation

  1. Locate the PCIe x16 slot.
  2. Remove the corresponding expansion slot cover from your PC case.
  3. Align the graphics card with the PCIe x16 slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Secure the graphics card to the case with a screw.

5.7 Power Supply Connections

  • Connect the 24-pin ATX main power connector from your power supply to the motherboard.
