Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and sapphire crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. If the strap becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally.

Water Resistance

Your watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters / 330 feet). This means it is suitable for everyday use, including splashes, rain, and showering. However, it is not designed for diving or prolonged submersion. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

Battery Replacement

The Miyota 6S20 Quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to take your watch to a qualified watchmaker or an authorized service center to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
  • Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero: This can sometimes be recalibrated. Consult a professional watchmaker if the issue persists after attempting a reset.
  • Water Inside the Watch: If you notice condensation or water inside the watch, immediately take it to a professional watchmaker for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
