4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The RGB lighting may indicate charging status.

4.2 Connectivity Modes

The Phantom 81 V2 supports three connectivity modes:

• USB-C Wired Mode: Connect the keyboard directly to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode.
• Bluetooth Mode:
  1. Toggle the switch on the keyboard to Bluetooth mode.
  2. Press Fn + 1/2/3 to select a Bluetooth profile (e.g., Fn+1 for BT1). The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (PC, Mac, Tablet, Smartphone), search for Bluetooth devices and select "KiiBoom Phantom 81".
  4. Once connected, the indicator light will become solid. You can pair up to three Bluetooth devices.
• 2.4GHz Wireless Mode:
  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver (often stored near the charging port or within the packaging).
  2. Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Toggle the switch on the keyboard to 2.4GHz mode.
  4. Press Fn + 4. The keyboard should automatically connect to the receiver.

5.1 RGB Backlighting Control

The Phantom 81 V2 features customizable RGB backlighting. Use the following key combinations to adjust lighting effects:

• Fn + \ |: Toggle Backlight Mode
• Fn + DEL: Toggle Backlight Direction
• Fn + ↑: Increase Brightness
• Fn + ↓: Decrease Brightness
• Fn + →: Increase Speed
• Fn + ←: Decrease Speed

5.2 Surrounding Sidelights Control

The keyboard also features customizable surrounding sidelights:

• Fn + P: Toggle Sidelight Mode

• Fn + X: Increase Sidelight Brightness
• Fn + V: Decrease Sidelight Brightness

To check the current battery level, press Fn + Backspace. The keyboard's RGB lighting will indicate the battery status:

• Yellow: 20% - 50%
• Green: Above 50%

6.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

5. Replace the keycap.
