Connecting the Keyboard

The Ajazz K3MAX keyboard connects via a USB-C cable. To set up your keyboard:

Locate the USB-C port on the keyboard.
Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer (PC or Mac).
The keyboard should be automatically recognized by your operating system. No additional drivers are typically required for basic functionality.

Operating Instructions

Basic Keyboard Functions

The Ajazz K3MAX features a 100-key layout with N-Key rollover, ensuring all key presses are registered simultaneously, which is beneficial for gaming and fast typing.

RGB Lighting Control

The keyboard offers 18+ immersive RGB lighting effects. Use the following key combinations to control the lighting:

FN + \ |: Switch between different lighting modes.
FN + ↑ ↓: Adjust brightness up or down.
FN + ← →: Adjust lighting speed.

Note: The colors of the RGB lighting are not customizable, but the effects and intensity can be adjusted.

Professional Modes

The keyboard includes three professional modes for specific uses:

FN + 1: FPS Mode (First-Person Shooter)

Maintenance

Cleaning the Keyboard

To maintain the cleanliness and functionality of your keyboard:

Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
Wipe the keycaps and keyboard surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
For stubborn stains, a small amount of mild cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the keyboard.

Hot-Swappable Switches

The Ajazz K3MAX features hot-swappable 3-pin sockets, allowing you to easily replace switches without soldering. This extends the lifespan of the keyboard and allows for customization of typing feel.

Using the provided keycap puller, gently remove the desired keycap by pulling straight up.
Using the provided switch puller, carefully grip the switch from its top and bottom clips and pull straight up to remove it from the PCB.
Align the pins of the new 3-pin mechanical switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
Gently push the new switch into place until it clicks securely.
Re-attach the keycap by pressing it firmly onto the new switch stem.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Keyboard not responding	Loose USB connection, faulty USB port, system driver issue.	Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer. Restart your computer. Check Device Manager (Windows) or System Information (Mac) to see if the keyboard is recognized.
Specific keys not working	Debris under keycap, faulty switch, bent switch pin.	Remove the keycap and clear any debris. Carefully remove the switch using the switch puller and inspect its pins for bending. Straighten bent pins if possible, or replace the switch. Reinsert the switch firmly.
RGB lighting not working or incorrect	Incorrect lighting mode selected, software conflict.	Cycle through lighting modes using FN + \ \|. Adjust brightness using FN + ↑ ↓. Ensure no conflicting software is running that might override keyboard lighting.
USB-C port feels loose or connection is intermittent	Wear and tear, manufacturing defect.	Ensure the cable is fully inserted and not under strain. Try a different USB-C cable. If the issue persists and is severe, contact customer support for potential repair or replacement under warranty.
