This manual provides detailed instructions for the ANCEL AD310 Classic Enhanced Universal OBD II Scanner and the ANCEL BM200 12V Car Battery Tester. The ANCEL AD310 is designed to diagnose engine fault codes, while the ANCEL BM200 is a versatile battery monitor capable of testing both lead-acid and lithium 12V batteries, including cranking and charging system analysis.

2. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions when using the ANCEL AD310 and BM200 devices:
- Ensure the vehicle is in a well-ventilated area when performing tests.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, when working with vehicle batteries.
- Avoid contact with battery acid. If contact occurs, flush with water immediately and seek medical attention.
- Do not smoke or allow sparks or flames near the battery. Batteries can produce explosive gases.
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off before connecting or disconnecting the AD310 from the OBDII port.
- Ensure correct polarity when connecting the BM200 to the battery terminals (red clamp to positive, black clamp to negative). Incorrect connection can damage the device or vehicle.
- Do not operate the devices if they appear damaged.

4. Setup
4.1 ANCEL AD310 OBD II Scanner Setup
- Locate the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC). This is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is in the OFF position.
- Connect the AD310's OBDII cable to the vehicle's DLC. The device will power on automatically as it draws power directly from the vehicle's OBDII port.
- Turn the vehicle's ignition to the ON position (engine off).
4.2 ANCEL BM200 Battery Tester Setup
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are turned off.
- Connect the red clamp of the BM200 to the positive (+) terminal of the 12V vehicle battery.
- Connect the black clamp of the BM200 to the negative (-) terminal of the 12V vehicle battery.
- The BM200 will power on.
- Download the "ANCEL BM200" application on your smartphone or tablet. You can find the app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or by visiting http://link.quicklynks.com/bm6-ancel.html.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone/tablet and open the ANCEL BM200 app. The app will automatically connect to the BM200 device.

5. Operation
5.1 ANCEL AD310 OBD II Scanner Operation
The AD310 is designed for ease of use, providing quick and accurate diagnostic results for your vehicle's engine system.

- Read Codes: This function allows you to retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the vehicle's computer. These codes indicate specific issues detected by the vehicle's onboard diagnostic system.
- Erase Codes: After addressing the underlying issue, this function clears the DTCs from the vehicle's memory and turns off the Check Engine Light (CEL).
- Live Data: View real-time operational parameters of the vehicle, such as engine RPM, vehicle speed, oxygen sensor readings, and more. This helps in monitoring vehicle performance and diagnosing intermittent issues.
- View Freeze Frame: When an emission-related fault occurs, the vehicle's computer records a snapshot of operating conditions at the time of the fault. This data, known as Freeze Frame data, can help identify the conditions under which the fault occurred.
- I/M Readiness: This function checks the readiness of the various emission-related systems on the vehicle. It indicates whether the monitors have completed their diagnostic cycles, which is crucial for emissions testing.
- Vehicle Info: Retrieve the vehicle identification number (VIN), calibration ID, and calibration verification number (CVN) of the test vehicle.
- EVAP Leak Test: The Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) prevents gasoline vapors from escaping into the atmosphere. The AD310 can perform a test to determine if the EVAP system is working correctly and detect leaks.

5.2 ANCEL BM200 Battery Tester Operation
The BM200 provides comprehensive battery analysis through its dedicated mobile application.
- Battery Test: The BM200 can test all 12V 100-2000CCA lead-acid and lithium batteries. It provides real-time battery parameters including power, temperature, and voltage.
- Cranking Test: This test measures the actual cranking voltage and cranking time to determine the health of the starting system.
- Charging Test: Evaluates the vehicle's charging system, including the alternator, rectifier, and wiring, to ensure proper voltage output.
- Battery Load Test: Assesses the battery's ability to hold voltage under load, indicating its overall capacity and health.
- Data Storage: The device automatically stores up to 31 days of historical data, allowing you to monitor battery performance trends over time.
- Compatibility: Supports a wide range of 12V vehicle batteries, including those found in boats, SUVs, forklifts, hybrid cars, travel trailers, pickups, RVs, and motorcycles.

6. Maintenance
- Keep both devices clean and free from dust, dirt, and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the devices in a dry, cool environment when not in use.
- Regularly check the cables and connectors for any signs of damage. Do not use if cables are frayed or damaged.
- For the BM200, ensure the battery clamps are clean to maintain good electrical contact.
