  • No need to always connect to WiFi during normal driving; the dash cam records automatically when powered.
  • The effective WiFi signal range is approximately 25ft. It does not support remote live viewing from home.

4.3 GPS Functionality

The built-in GPS module records your driving route and speed data. This data can be viewed using a dedicated GPS player software on your computer (Windows and macOS compatible). Contact customer support via your Amazon order for GPS player download instructions.

4.4 Recording Modes

4.4.1 Loop Recording

The dash cam continuously records in 1, 2, or 3-minute segments. When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked video files will be automatically overwritten to ensure continuous recording.

4.4.2 Emergency Recording (G-Sensor)

The built-in G-sensor automatically detects sudden shakes or collisions. When triggered, the current video segment will be locked and saved to a separate folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This applies to both on-road incidents and parking impacts.

4.4.3 One-Press Lock

During recording, you can manually press the "M" button (button 5) once to lock the current video file. This prevents the file from being overwritten by the loop recording function, allowing you to save important moments at any time.

4.4.4 24-Hour Parking Modes

To enable 24-hour parking monitoring, the dash cam requires a continuous power supply via the optional 3-Lead Hardwire Kit (ASIN: B0BNPWTSBH).

  • Time-Lapse 1fps Parking Mode: The camera records continuously at one frame per second, maximizing recording quantity while saving storage space.
  • Collision Detection Parking Mode: The camera automatically initiates a 1-minute recording when the G-sensor detects a collision.

5. SD Card Management

A 64GB TF card is included and pre-inserted with your dash cam. The device supports up to 256GB SD cards.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Camera not turning on: Ensure the dash cam is always connected to a powered cigarette lighter port. Check the power cable connection.
  • Rear or Cabin Camera Issues: Do not plug or unplug the rear or cabin camera during use. Always disconnect the dash cam's power first before connecting or disconnecting these cameras.
  • Cabin Camera Video is Black and White: The cabin camera automatically adjusts exposure. If the light source is too weak, the video will appear in black and white, even during the day. This is normal operation.
  • Dash Cam Runs Hot: The dash cam is designed to withstand extreme temperatures (-4°F to 158°F) due to its super capacitor. A working temperature of 30℃ to 50℃ is normal, and it is expected for the dash cam to run slightly hot.
  • WiFi Connection Issues: The effective WiFi signal range is about 25ft. Ensure your phone is within this range. WiFi is for direct connection between your phone and dash cam for video transfer, not for remote live viewing.
  • Video Files Not Saving/Overwriting: Ensure the SD card is formatted correctly. If the card is full, loop recording will overwrite the oldest unlocked files. Locked files (G-sensor triggered or manually locked) will not be overwritten.
