Cleaning the Unit

  • Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • For the dust cover, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution.

Stylus Care

  • The stylus (needle) is a delicate component. Avoid touching it with your fingers.
  • Clean the stylus periodically using a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
  • A worn stylus can damage records and degrade sound quality. Replace the stylus if you notice a decrease in sound quality or visible wear.

Media Care

  • Records: Handle records by their edges. Store them vertically in their sleeves to prevent warping. Clean records with a dedicated record brush before playing.
  • CDs: Handle CDs by their edges. Clean them with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
