5. Installation

The Juno LPFM 1x4 LED Panel Light can be installed in T-grid ceilings or direct surface mounted. Always ensure power is disconnected before installation.

5.1 Direct Surface Mounting

1. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Identify the desired location for the fixture. Ensure the surface is structurally sound to support the weight of the fixture.
2. Install the DCMK Bracket: Secure the included Direct Mount Bracket (DCMK 14) to the ceiling using appropriate mounting hardware. Ensure the bracket is level and firmly attached.
3. Wire the Fixture: Connect the electrical wiring from the ceiling to the fixture's junction box. Follow local electrical codes and the wiring diagram provided with the fixture. The fixture includes a safety lanyard to temporarily hold it during wiring.
4. Attach the Fixture: Once wired, align the fixture with the installed DCMK bracket and secure it in place.

5.2 T-Grid Ceiling Installation

For T-grid ceilings, the fixture includes integral clips that allow it to be dropped directly into the grid. Follow the wiring instructions as for surface mounting, then secure the fixture within the T-grid.

5.3 Changing the Trim

The black trim is pre-installed. To switch to the white trim:

1. Gently lift the inner tabs securing the current trim.
2. Carefully remove the black trim.
3. Align the white trim with the fixture and press it into place until the tabs engage securely. No special tools are required.

6.1 Color Temperature Selection

Locate the 3-in-1 CCT switch on the fixture. Use this switch to select your desired color temperature:

• 3500K (Neutral White): A balanced white light, suitable for general tasks.
• 4000K (Cool White): A brighter, more energetic white light, ideal for task lighting.
• 5000K (Daylight): A very bright, crisp white light, mimicking natural daylight, best for areas requiring high visibility.

6.2 Dimming

This fixture is Triac dimming compatible. Connect to a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately) to adjust the light output from 100% down to 10%.

7. Maintenance
